Technology and Health

– Overview –

This line of research features understanding how people utilize different technologies to communicate and engage with health-related information. Specifically, I explore how families use technology to discuss health, how individuals interpret physiological data provided by wearable devices to better understand their health conditions, and how technology can be used to promote healthy behaviors and encourage behavior change. By gaining insights into how people interact with technology in these contexts, we can design more effective and user-friendly health technologies that better meet the needs of users.
